The Rijksmuseum is one of the leading and most well-known museums in Amsterdam and is considered one of the city’s most famous tourist attractions. The museum is located in the heart of Amsterdam’s historic canal district, and it can also be seen from any standard canal cruise.

It is the national museum of the Netherlands, housed in a magnificent architectural building that underwent a major renovation in 2013. The museum displays an enormous collection of more than 8,000 works of art created from 1200 up to the present day.
