What is the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam?

Answer: The Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is the main port for international cruise ships and large leisure vessels arriving in the city. The terminal is located in central Amsterdam, on the banks of the IJ River, and not far from Central Station (about a 15-minute walk). Its main building is an impressive piece of architecture, through which around 300,000 passengers pass every year, with about 150 ships docking and departing from there. 

It is important to note that the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is used only for large cruise ships or big river cruises, and it has no connection to canal cruises in Amsterdam, which depart from other locations across the city.
